Sensitive Species

The Utah Sensitive Species List identifies those species for which "there is credible scientific evidence to substantiate a threat to continued population viability" (DNR, 2005).

This includes species on federal lists. Twenty-five species are identified as threatened in the Jordan River Watershed.

State Status Definition

S-ESA - Federally-listed or candidate species under the Endangered Species Act.
SPC - Wildlife species of concern.
CS -Species receiving special management under a Conservation Agreement in order to preclude the need for Federal listing.
