Boreal Toad
Boreal Western Toad (Bufo boreas boreas)

Several amphibian species are found throughout the Salt Lake Countywide Watershed.  Salamanders, tree frogs, and toads can be found in and around many of our streams and river.  Recently, Dan Potts of the Salt Lake County Fish & Game Advisory Group and a local naturalist compiled a list of amphibian species that have been observed in the Jordan River Corridor (Amphibians in JR Corridor).
