Following are the nine planning elements:
1. Economics 2. Wastewater 3. Water Supply 4. Stormwater 5. Non-Point Sources 6. Instream Flows 7. Utah Lake 8. Habitat 9. Headwaters
Targets
Salt Lake County, with input from the Jordan River Watershed Council, has identified seven (7) targets to be addressed in the Water Quality Stewardship Plan (WaQSP).
Timeline
The WaQSP plan will be developed in three (3) phases. The first phase was initiated in 2006 and focused on data compilation/development of the plan framework. The second phase will focus on plan development and will be complete by the end of 2007. Although stakeholder involvement is critical throughout the WaQSP development, the final phase will assure that all stakeholders and interested public have the opportunity to comment on and give input to the final WaQSP document.
